I havn’t been a good division leader, have I?

Well, it’s TyloV5, and I’m here to say: Let’s get this place running!

First off, I updated the ranks page.  I’ll update about every week so it’s up to date!

Next, the Division War thing may be starting up again, and since I’ll probably be leading us, I’m gonna be looking over the ranks to decide who will be helping me lead.

I have a lot of hope for this division, but I have to do my part to make this place better, and you have to do yours!

Retirement of Foxtails

Yeah, it’s time for me to go…. Like Dry said, I never guessed it’d be this early. I had planned three more years laid out in front of me… but ACP just doesn’t feel like ACP anymore. Maybe it was just the shock of coming on with Meat being leader and Dry having resigned; maybe I’ll come to my senses in the middle of this post and think to myself “Aw, what am I saying? Am I stupid?” Maybe.

Well, firstly, congratulations to Meat. I always knew you’d make it this far before I did. And you were right. I really didn’t do anything as 3ic except goof off and “be inappropriate.” Is Rap banished now? (Half-kidding… heh.)

And don’t any of you dare to think this is because I’m not 3ic anymore. If you think that you might as well give me your address and a link to a battle-axe on EBay now.

TyloV5 Edit: Well, on the ACP’s Divisions Page, it says that I’m now Delta’s First General (don’t worry fox, I think the generals have equal power, whether they’re one or two).  So if I could be admined, that would be great.  Also, we scored ONE POINT in the last PB.  That’s got to change.  I’m gonna see if Dryvit will let me schedule a PB with, say, the Black Panthers so we can practice tactics.  I have some tactics that I want to try out, and that would be a great way to do it.

Hey everyone. Since no one has posted about it, I might as well. The divisions practice battle O_O. What happened?! We were creamed! We weren’t even a close 3rd. I know it’s Summer but if you all even have any time, you must go. I don’t wanna see some soldier on ACP chat gossiping and not at the battle. So please remember to go, and I’m sure we will do better for the next battle.

If you havn’t already heard, there is a division practice battle coming up.  Here’s the info from the ACP site:

For the first time in a long time, I would like to announce a new Practice War!  The battle will be Echo vs. Delta vs. Alpha ina  server wide battle on Klondike.  Each division will start in a room (base).  When the battle begins the divisions will be able to move around the server and battle their fellow divisions.  Judges (all of the leaders who can make it) will be around the server giving points to teams who are using strategies and skills that count for points.  At the end of the battle (the battle will be a half hour long) whichever division with the most points wins.  For times and more info, read the next section of this post below.

Date: August 1st

Time: 2:00 PM Penguin Standard Time

Server: Klondike

Alpha Base: Ski Village

Delta Base: Town

Echo Base: Cove

NOTE: Each Division leader must give commands from their own division chat.  Also, the 1st and 2nd Generals will be leading this battle.

Now, I (being as I am TyloV5) will not be able to make it, nor will I be here from tommorow to the 2nd of august.  So, I’m gonna need the other division leaders to step-up and take over!  I’m not even a general, and I’m leading this place.  See the problem?

Well, here are just some tips.  You’ve probably heard some of them before.  You may not have.  Just remember these during the battle:

• Spread out!  I can’t stress this enough!  We’ll look smaller than we are if you all bunch-up together!
• Don’t wait in a line too long.  If you do, you’re a pretty easy target for a charge.  So use a line to re-group, and then charge, or open fire, or whatever. 
• Don’t charge for too long.  If you charge too long, the enemy will just charge back after a while, and it will become a jumbled mess.  And obviously, that’s not good. 
• Don’t be afraid to fall back.  If the enemy out-numbers you by a lot in one room, fall back and recruit, then go back to fight them.  Don’t just sit there and get creamed! 
• You actually have to fire snowballs.  Every once in a while, pull out of a charge and open fire.  Isn’t that what CP Armies used to be all about?  Having snowball fights?
• Be quiet when waiting for orders, and don’t give orders yourself.  Doing both those things will help keep this from getting out-of-hand. 
• HAVE FUN!  This is the most important one of all.  If we lose, we lose.  We can only train harder and win next time!  The important thing is that you have fun!
